This site provides information about my work as a funeral celebrant and general information and links to help bereaved people organise a funeral or memorial.
The target audience of the site are bereaved people who find themselves having to organise a funeral after the death of a close relative or friend. People in this situation are vulnerable and have to make a lot of decisions in a short time with limited information and guidance.
The primary aim of the site is to help these people become more informed and critical consumers of funeral services, so that they are as able, as far as possible, to look back on the funeral or memorial of the person that died with a sense that justice was done to the occasion.
As a trained and accredited Humanist celebrant I have another site, hosted by Humanists UK, which provides information about my work as a weddings and namings celebrant as well as my funerals work.
