Having Douglas as our wedding celebrant is been great. He is a kind and warm person, he listened to us and built the perfect tailored ceremony. All the guests loved him, and so did we.

As a family we can’t recommend Doug enough. Doug has a lovely way about him and he guided us through the process of arranging a lovely service for my Dad. Doug was extremely accommodating and not only spent several hours with us but also …

… remained in contact with me in the weeks ahead of the service. I really felt as though nothing was too much trouble and he made a very difficult time more manageable. Many people commented that the service captured the essence of Dad perfectly.

Douglas was in contact with me and my family and guided us through the whole process. He altered or deleted anything I wasn’t sure about and was a great support.

Doug spent time with us as a family in person & on zoom to understand my father’s background and character. He delivered the service with the utmost dignity and respect. He has a wonderful way with words and a calm, professional manner which massively helped us all through the difficult process.

Doug was reassuring, calm and patient in the planning and build up to the funeral we planned together. On the day, he was a calming presence and coordinated things superbly, really taking any stress out of it and allowing family and guests to focus on the celebration of life on the day…

.. He summarised family members’ memories really well in his eulogy and all remarked on how apt and special the funeral and event afterwards was. He also gave valuable feedback to those of us talking … Excellent – no hesitations in recommending Doug for any event to benefit from a celebrant.
