Hello and welcome to my website! As a humanist celebrant I’ve helped hundreds of families and couples do justice to the big occasions in life – birth, partnering and dying – what some call the “rites of passage”. I absolutely love my work because I know it can make a difference to people’s lives. I put my heart and soul into it and I get huge job satisfaction.

One of the advantages of using a celebrant accredited by Humanists UK is that we are all part of a supportive network and we like to get together to exchange ideas, so that when you use one of us you are also buying into our hive mind and the security that in the unlikely event that your celebrant has a health or other emergency one of us will always be there to step in. It was such a joy to meet with Marco and Giulia at their home in London at the weekend to plan their English-Italian wedding ceremony at the beautiful Tudor Barn in Eltham. They are both from Italy and both work in hospitality so an excellent lunch was of course on the agenda! I really love working on bi-lingual ceremonies because they provide a rare opportunity to get guests together from different cultures and with different languages and give them an experience they can all share and understand. It’s that time of the month we humanist celebrants of the East Midlands get together for a chat and a virtual coffee.
